» Centeno Ankling Opus?*
Just over a week ago, word broke that Opus would be shelving the tasting menu and overhauling the regular menu. Now Eater LA says that chef Josef Centeno will be leaving Opus to open a new, smaller restaurant in Silver Lake that will show of his tasting menu.
I wish Centeno the best of luck with his new venture, but it will be a drag to see him leave Opus. Let’s just hope that another talented chef will step in to fill his shoes; Koreatown needs it.
*Update: Looks like Centeno will stick around for “probably 8 or 9 months.”
